My Portraits

I am an artist working in both watercolour and charcoal. I love drawing and painting animals and have recently specialised in painting dogs and cats as I know that so many pet owners, like me, love to have a portrait of their pet which captures their character.

Please contact me if you would be interested in me doing a portrait of your pet. Of course I do not expect your pet to pose long enough for a live portrait session! Ideally, I prefer to visit you and your pet and take a number of photos. I select a few which I think would be suitable for using to create the portrait from and then ask you to select the final photo which best captures their character.

 

Alternatively, I can also work from a special photo of your choosing, as sometimes you want a portrait to remember a lost pet, or you may not be local so a photo session is too difficult to arrange. If you would like me to create a portrait as a gift for someone else I can work with you to create a surprise for them.
